ProcServe Acquires IMPAQ Business Solutions

30th May 2007, LONDON, UK. ProcServe, a leading provider of procurement and marketplace connectivity solutions, today announced the completion of its acquisition of IMPAQ Business Solutions, a UK based company that develops procurement document exchange solutions. The combination of ProcServe and IMPAQ Business Solutions creates a powerful set of capabilities to help global customers generate greater efficiencies and savings through their procurement and account payable functions.

ProcServe and IMPAQ Business Solutions have a long term partnership delivering the UK Zanzibar Managed Service, a web-enabled procurement and electronic marketplace solution available to public sector organisations in England, Wales and Northern Ireland. This proven solution enables public sector buyers and their suppliers to link up over the internet and transact end-to-end requisitions, orders and invoices. ProcServe's acquisition of IMPAQ will benefit current and future customers of the Zanzibar Managed Service through increased innovation and integration of the solution.

"This acquisition brings together two leading companies focused on providing customers with innovative procurement transformation solutions" said Veera Johnson, CEO, ProcServe. "The complementary strengths of ProcServe and IMPAQ Business Solutions will help accelerate the benefits achieved by our customers. I am excited about the opportunities that will be realized by our customers, our partners, and our employees as a result of this acquisition."

The integrated company will retain the ProcServe name and the company will be led by Veera Johnson, who will retain her role as CEO. The company headquarters will remain in London, but the company will also maintain a significant presence in Guildford, the headquarters for IMPAQ Business Solutions in the UK.

"I'm looking forward to working with Veera, the ProcServe executive team, and our customers and partners as we move forward," said Michael Bennett, IMPAQ Business Solutions Managing Director. "By combining IMPAQ's Supplier Portal for supplier enablement with ProcServe's strong procurement and marketplace connectivity capabilities, we can provide public sector organisations and companies with a truly comprehensive solution that will enable them to drive greater savings across their supply chain operations."

The most recent version of ProcServe's solution was launched on schedule in April 2007 and is being used by the Department for Education and Skills (DfES) to power OPEN (Online Procurement for Educational Needs). ProcServe's technology and infrastructure investments will continue unabated, with the release of version 3.0 planned for November 2007. This week ProcServe will begin executing the planned integration of IMPAQ Business Solutions' technologies and operations to ensure immediate and continued value for customers and partners.
