ProcServe has been appointed by the Welsh Assembly Government to deliver a key part of the eProcurement platform for the xchangewales programme. This programme will result in an all-Wales system that will enable every Welsh public sector organisation to find suppliers and order and pay for goods at the click of a button. xchangewales will benefit Wales by releasing significant savings for reinvestment and enabling organisations to collaborate and make more informed procurement decisions. Additionally this will lead to lower prices, increased use of corporate contracts and paperless ordering with reduced administration.
Realising savings, through an effective, modern approach to procurement, is of paramount importance for everyone in government. We were persuaded to use ProcServe because of both the flexibility of its system, and also the role of the company in supporting wider Government Procurement initiatives. This made them the obvious choice for our Department.
